Fly into Lihue Airport (LIH)
Līhuʻe Airport (LIH) is the primary airport on Kauaʻi and the most convenient arrival point for all guests. From the airport, the drive to the North Shore takes approximately 45–60 minutes, offering a beautiful first look at the island as you transition from the south shore into lush valley landscapes and coastal views. We recommend arranging rental cars in advance, as rideshare availability can be limited on the island. The North Shore is beautiful but spread out, and transportation options become more limited once you are in Hanalei/Princeville. For guests not renting a car, we strongly recommend: • Booking airport transfers in advance • Coordinating arrival times when possible within the same window • Confirming return transportation at least 24–48 hours prior to departure
